African Americans have played a role in Virginia winemaking for centuries, and also in the recent ascent of the Monticello American Viticultural Area (AVA). Join us in the foothills and ridges of the scenic Blue Ridge Mountains to drink in history, tour Central Virginia vineyards, meet Black wine professionals, and learn about the collaborative wine incubators which foster the creativity of emerging winemakers.
